How does the COD-optimized checkout work?
Understand the purchase flow optimized for cash on delivery.
The Whatalo checkout is specifically designed to maximize conversions for the cash on delivery model. The form captures only the information needed to complete the delivery.
The flow is: the customer adds products to the cart, fills in their contact details (name and phone required, email optional), selects shipping address, chooses payment method, and confirms the order.
During checkout, Order Bumps (if configured) are also displayed, and quantity offers and discount codes are automatically applied.
