What are Order Bumps and how do I set them up?
Offer complementary products at checkout to increase the average order value.
Order Bumps are additional products that appear as a checkbox in your checkout. The customer can add them to their order with a single click, without interrupting the purchase process.
It is an effective strategy to increase the average order value. For example, if you sell phones, you can offer a protective case as an order bump.
You can configure which bump is shown based on what product the customer is buying, and set priorities if you have multiple bumps.
The availability of this feature depends on your plan.
Step by step
- 1Go to "Order Bumps" in your admin panel.
- 2Create a new order bump.
- 3Select the product that will be offered as the bump.
- 4Define which cart products will trigger the bump.
- 5Set the priority order if you have multiple bumps.
- 6Activate the order bump.
Important information
- •The priority system determines which bump is shown first.
- •You can link a bump to multiple catalog products.
